  Re-submission (corrected and further developed) of Assignment 1 (TBL).   Task 1 – Individual: The Bike Locker (TBL) Research report (consultant report) 4500 words (100%) A research report paper examining the brief as set by the client (TBL) to explore perspectives of Strategic Entrepreneurial Marketing – in particular Design Thinking approaches and the application of the BMC. The report should focus on the brief:   How does TBL gain a greater understanding of differing ‘consumer’ (B2C)  tribes: who they are (tribe), what they look like (persona), how to reach them (hyper-individual communication and story), and what value proposition could the client offer in order to be recognised as a hub for cycling in Cardiff?   The report should develop a justified case and choice for your suggested solution to the brief and should discuss the key models being used and their application.   The report should be presented as a reasoned discussion taking views from a variety of sources but in particular contemporary published papers and reports most probably found within key journals and sources in the field. The presentation of the report will include a discussion of and about: Tribes, personas, empathy mapping, Design Thinking and the BMC, which approaches you have taken and why, critically you will discuss the identification of a chosen ‘persona’, how they can be reached and what VP could be offered by the client (or should be offered). The report value will pivot on two things: your choices and your justification for them…be bold and brave!

Evaluate contemporary approaches to Strategy and discuss in the context of digital marketing and business models. 2 Research Retrieve and utilise relevant information from an extensive range of appropriate sources e.g. textbooks, newspapers, websites, journals, legislation, reports and Government reports 3 Critical thinking Critically analyse, evaluate and synthesise by applying SEM constructs to complex and contemporary situations. 4 Argument development Appraise the SEM function in a contemporary organisation context through the analysis of multiple sources of data and materials. 5 Communication Present information demonstration quality and clarity of expression, use of terminology appropriate for the target audience by communication contemporary SEM theories in a coherent way. Clearly communicate information using a writing style and structure appropriate to the assessment tool
